Cafe Maxx Wins Me Over Again

Ooh! Do I love Cafe Maxx! We had our last wine tasting at Cafe Maxx, and it was fabulous. I feel so honored to be working with Darrel and Oliver and to have them invite our wine club in. Every time I think of the restaurant my heart nearly skips a beat. For our wine tasting, we selected Harrington Wine to be our sponsor. This top line Pinot Noir was a perfect fit for this location. Even the owners were wondering how we managed to get such a top quality wine to sponsor our event. :)

As our group arrived, we had to split up into 2 groups. The first half was led into the back room and sat down at the tables. This was a little more formal than we were used to as our guests usually stand around and mingle and the hors d’oeuvres are passed around, but this time Cafe Maxx did it in their style and guests were served at their place setting.

The second group was seated at the bar and were served the series of wines and hors d’oeuvres at their own pace. Once again, there was great energy among the guests and we savored every last bite as we were served tuna sashimi pizza, shitake and chicken pot stickers, among others - delicious!
