M&M’s Frozen Treats

As much as I love being outside year round, in the summer I can only take so much. The AC sounds fabulous to me, and so does a nice, cold frozen treat. Therefore, I was excited to hear about a new promotion that M&M’s was doing this summer (since it included South Florida).

Last week, Mars announced the release of the new M&M’s Brand Ice Cream Treats. Resembling a traditional M&M candy, these bars are available on a stick. They are made of vanilla ice cream, dipped in a chocolate coating and then, dipped in a chocolate covered shell (red, green or blue). They also have some riddle on the stick, but that’s not what gets me excited.

Part of their plan is to blitz high traffic areas with ‘Team Ice-Cream’ and Miami/Fort Lauderdale will be on their schedule. Workers will wear a uniform of white pants and shirts and a bowtie and set up an old fashioned ice cream parlor where the team will give out free samples and coupons of the perfect summertime treat. Additionally, a 1950’s style ice cream truck adorned with M&M’s logo will be driving down and visiting some lucky fans. Click here to see a schedule of their tour in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
