It’s funny how during a time when people are finding new ways to save money, Koi has found a new way to make it easy to spend a grand. They have come out with The High
Roller Sushi Roll. This menu item features Hudson Valley Foie Gras that is marinated and poached in the sauterne. It is then wrapped with succulent lobster that has been cut into sashimi and placed on the outside of the roll. The roll is further brushed with drawn saffron & vanilla bean butter and then encrusted with caviar. The chef will visit your table (oh personal treatment - you betcha!) and shave White Alba truffles on your plate and drizzle the sushi with 100 year balsamic. Delicious? Maybe, Crazy? You got it! Try it for yourself, I think I’ll pass.
