They Really Know How to Treat a Lady

Christabelle’s, a breathtaking New Orleans style restaurant, is located in the heart of Coconut Grove. This three-story architectural landmark is nothing less than exquisite. As they describe the interior from the website, “The structure, with grandeur architecture, houses an impressive hand-selected antique collection from around the world, highlighted by stain glass ceilings and windows designed by Pablo Velasco whose family studied art with the famed Pablo Picasso. Twenty different types of marble from around the world grace Christabelle’s floor in delicate patterns and over 10,000 sheets of gold leaf were used throughout the building on its elaborate crown molding,” you feel like you have entered a palace. 

I have heard a whirlwind of news on Christabelle’s. First, they gathered their chef directly from New Orleans. Then, he left. Then, the GM and sommelier were gone and now, it looks like they have new management at the restaurant, a new chef - Keith Becton and some exciting events going on. 

Now, this is what really caught my eye. I received an invitation announcing the launch of Thursdays at Christabelle’s. This is the ultimate Thursday night dinner party (happening every Thursday) where ladies will receive a complimentary dinner each week. It looks like the menu will change each week. The dinner party starts at 9pm every Thursday and go on into the night. Gentlemen don’t dismay, as you will also be treated to Cajun and Creole delicacies.

After dinner, guests will move upstairs and dance the night away to the tunes of Sandman (tonight) and other top DJs. 

If this doesn’t get you out to Christabelle’s, I don’t know what will. Cheers!
