Enjoy the Wines of Rutherford Ranch at Baleen on July 31, 2008
Join us for a wine tasting at Baleen Restaurant at Grove Isle on Thursday, July 31st as we taste the wines of Rutherford Ranch and enjoy some scrumptious hors d’oeuvres prepared by chef Tom Rhyneer.
- Caviar and creme fraiche stuffed fingerling bites
- Scallop ceviche spoon with baby cilantro, yuzu and truffle
- Sweet and Spicy petit chicken kabobs
- Mini baked Brie
- Korean BBQ Short rib bites
- Smoked salmon canape
- Olive tapanade stuffed artichoke
- Antipasti bites
- Jalapeno torched sashimi
We will be pairing the appetizers with a selection of wines from
Rutherford Ranch including the following:
- Rutherford Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon
- Rutherford Ranch Chardonnay
- Rutherford Ranch Rhiannon Meritage
- Round Hill Chardonnay “Oak Free”
- Round Hill Merlot
- Scott Chardonnay “Dijon Clone”
Once again, Dine Magazine’s wine editor, Patrick Sullivan will be there to tutor the tasting, along with the winemaker from Rutherford Ranch. Join us for this fabulous tasting at Baleen known for their ocean inspired cuisine. Overlooking beautiful Biscayne Bay, this restaurant is both romantic and enchanting and is decorated with candles, oil lamps and drapes blowing in the wind.
